Bill Lauto is an Environmental, and Shroud of Turin Scientist. Certified and graduate in Shroud science from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, the Science and Faith Institute in Rome. All Faith and Reason Shroud Revivals are conducted in collaboration with Othonia, and the Pontifical University of Science and Faith. Bill does all three (3) Shroud Presentations.

Bill Lauto is the assigned Regional Leader for the Northeast of America [11 States] under OAE (Othonia Apostolate Group), English, who presents the truth about the Shroud of Turin to organizations, schools, and churches, in the Northeast, as well as establishing a permanent educational Shroud Center in New York City.

As an Environmental scientist, and by invitation from Father Pascual, Bill has lectured at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum on the environment, energy, and humankind's stewardship to our planet called Earth. Lecturing to master degree seminarians and students, from around the world, was an amazing reward.

Bill Lauto has been following the Shroud of Turin since he was fourteen and became involved with active studies and research in 2012 when he started collaborating with Barrie Schwortz the documenting photographer for the 1978 Shroud of Turin Research Project (STURP). Since then, Mr. Lauto wrote a book about the travels of Jesus' Shroud under a Pseudonym, worked and/or studied with Dr. Jackson, Father Pascual, Father Spence, Barrie Schwortz, Dr. Bruno Barberis, and Father Dalton, as well as many additional professors and Shroud Scientists. In 2024, Bill was an attending scientist at the National Eucharistic Congress's Shroud exhibit, held in Indianapolis. In July, 2025, Bill presented at the International Scientific Shroud Conference in St. Louis. (See next paragraph for more information.)

All information presented about the Shroud of Turin is based upon decades of research on more than a century of conducted studies and two millenniums of history. Data is derived from all the scientific disciplines and the additional scientific disciplines of Environmental, Celestial, and Calendrical systems added to the Shroud equation by Mr. Lauto’s research as an Environmental scientist. Thus, providing additional data supporting events foretold, and described, that occurred on the day Jesus was crucified. Mr. Lauto spoke and presented at the 2025 International Scientific Shroud Conference in St. Louis. The first, since 2019. His lecture was on the connecting data and information from our climate 2,000 years ago and the day Jesus was crucified. Along with new environmental evidence providing credence to the Gospels, Jesus' Shroud and Sudarium.
